California part 2

We did SO much while we were in California.
The first night we were there we went to Downtown Disney.
The next day we went to Disneyland. I will have pictures of Disneyland in the next few days.
On Tuesday we moved hotels up to Pasadena to be closer to Anthony's grandparents.
The kids loved helping us move hotels.
On our way to Pasadena we took the kids to one of my favorite places Santa Monica Pier and 3rd Street Promenade.
It was cold so we didn't stay outside too long.
Poor Olivia wanted to go in the water so bad.

It was such a windy day.
This was Luke and Olivia's first time seeing the ocean.

Luke finally got to wear his froggy hat.
We don't get to pull that hat out much in Arizona.

We found a fun little play area at 3rd Street Promenade.
The kids loved getting out of the stroller.
The kids did great at the hotel.
The first night they didn't go to sleep so well,
they weren't used to sharing a room.
But by the third night everyone got the hang of it.

This was right next to our hotel.

Grace found this "secret passage" in the parking garage.
She insisted we walk under it every time we were in the garage.

Anthony took us to the train park that his parents took him to when he was younger.

We all had so much fun exploring the trains.
Luke slept almost the entire time.

I thought this sign was funny.

Luke finally woke up just as we were leaving.

After the train park we went over to Anthony's grandparents.
We had a nice visit with them (I forgot to take pictures).
The kids did so well spending time with the great grandparents.
They were so well behaved. We were both so proud.
After his grandparents house we walked around the Glendale Galleria
and had a light dinner. I was really craving candy so we got some candy at The Sweet Factory. YUM.
Everyone was so tired that we all fell right
to sleep when we got back to the hotel.
Well except Anthony who is the night owl in our family.
The next day we headed home.
We are already aching to head back to California.
I love it there.

My dad would take me to the train park all the time when I was growing up! So many memories there! So happy you had a fun trip :)
